La actividad contó con la participación de diversas insituciones, cooperativas y empresa, las cuales han formado parte del programa Vargas Recicla.
Explicó José Luís Bolívar, coordinador general del evento, que la feria es el fruto del trabajo que vienen realizando hace 6 años en el estado Vargas y Zulia.
Indicó que vienen realizando trabajos con algunos consejos comunales de catia la mar y macuto, a través de los cuales buscan promover herramientas y la cultura de aprovechamiento de recursos.
Señaló que han gestionado experienias con cooperativas y empresas para que los residuos que generen no vayan al vertedero, aprovechándolo para minimizar el impacto negativo en el ambiente y a su vez generar puestos de trabajo.
El trabajo inicia con la sencibilización y formación con talleres donde los capacitan en la clasificación de residuos y en la aplicación de un sistema de recolección, resaltó.
El EFIP es una asociación civil sin fines de lucro que tiene 37 años trabajando en el país, los interesados en formar parte del programa pueden contactarlos en su sede ubicada detrás del campo de béisbol de El Pavero de macuto.
