• Realiza previamente una lista de los productos que necesitas, y trata en la mediad de lo posible no salirse de ella. Esto ayudara a no comprar cosas innecesarias, solo por el hecho de estar en ofertas.
• Evita comprar envases desechables o con demasiadas envolturas. • Selecciona los envoltorios de papel, cartón y vidrio, son los menos dañinos.
• Analiza y compara productos, dando prioridad a aquellos que sean más duraderos y puedan reutilizarse y de reciclarse.
• Da prioridad a los productos naturales. Todos los productos industrializados, en mayor o en menor medida utilizan para su producción, almacenamiento y conservación, elementos químicos y materiales no biodegradables.
• Consume agua y jugos naturales, son más frescos y saludables; disminuye o evita el consumo de refrescos y bebidas enl atas.
• Si de vestimenta o de aparatos electrodomésticos se trata, elige aquellos que vayan a tener más larga vida y que en caso de averías o daños puedan ser reparados.
• De ser posible compra productos a granel, así evitas embalajes y decides la cantidad de productos que mejor se ajusta a tus necesidades.
• Evita los alimentos presentados en bandejas de anime.
• Compra sólo la cantidad de alimentos que vayas a consumir.
• En la medida de lo posible usa una bolsa de tela o carrito al realizar compras. En última instancia reutiliza las bolsas que recibas.
• Los productos en tamaño familiar, sean de lo que sean, generan menos residuos por unidad de productos.
• Rechaza la publicidad que te invade en la calle. No te dejes engañar, la publicidad explota la salud de las personas y nos hace sentir imperfectos, insatisfechos, y nos invita a consumir y consumir.
